Comic Strip Live Theater seeks to bring in productions, including musicals, over the next few years and will receive submissions and inquiries in writing to Bob Wachs at Comic Strip Live (1568 Second Avenue, NY, NY 10028). All productions will be produced by the founders of Comic Strip Live, Richie Tienken and Bob Wachs, whose collaborations span over 30 years and include producing roles on several major Eddie Murphy hit movies. In addition, the producers are openly seeking TV and film outlets for all plays produced via Comic Strip Live Theater.

Founded in its original and current New York City location in 1975 by Richard Tienken, John McGowan and Robert Wachs, Comic Strip Live originally featured comics, singers, magicians and novelty acts.
